About Us

Established in 2003, Cecilia and Grant Jefferys opened Bloomingdales Garden Centre. The vacant land, opposite Everfresh at Virginia Circle, was occupied by vagrants at the time. Cecilia and Grant had great vision when they walled in the property and transformed it into a little piece of heaven! They originally opened the nursery to supply plants for their landscaping business and from there it developed into a full scale retail nursery. Cecilia manages the nursery, while Grant looks after the landscaping and his treefelling business, Grant’s Treefellers.

Bloomingdales offers a huge variety of plants, pavers, edging, fertilizers, pots, water features, garden ornaments and much more. They also offer landscaping services, instant lawn, treefelling and deliveries. To save time, customers can phone through their orders and have them delivered! Bloomingdales stocks an extensive range of exotic and indigenous plants, from ground covers to shrubs and trees. If they do not have it in stock, they will source it and get back to you with price and size of the plant within 24 hours.
